Information Project Connect uses
Project Connect uses account and contact information, customer requests, provider business and qualification information, communications, estimates, scheduling, payments, verification results, and technical or security information needed to operate and protect the marketplace.
How information is used
Information is used to provide accounts and marketplace workflows, match eligible providers to requests, support communications and transactions, review provider qualifications, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve operational issues, preserve audit history, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Project Connect may provide information to vendors that support hosting, authentication, payments, identity verification, communications, security, and other platform operations. Customer and provider information may also be shared with each other as needed for a project, or disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or a lawful request.
Retention
Completed Project Connect job records are retained for at least 24 months after completion. Warranty-related, payment, legal-acceptance, audit, fraud, security, or dispute records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary. Historical legal acceptance records are preserved rather than overwritten.
Choices and security
Users should keep account information current and protect their credentials. Project Connect uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Questions or requests about personal information may be submitted through Project Connect's published support channel.
