Provider Responsibility Agreement

Applies to: Every service provider · Version 2026-08-24

Business-approved beta wording, pending attorney review. Effective version: 2026-08-24.

Universal provider acknowledgment

This agreement applies to every provider category, including contractors, plumbers, electricians, handyman providers, cleaners, HVAC providers, janitorial and service providers, and future provider types. A provider may not become eligible for new Project Connect opportunities until the provider accepts this agreement, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy.

Legal qualification and credentials

I am responsible for truthfully representing my identity, business, licensing, credentials, insurance, experience, and legal qualification to perform each type and scope of work I accept. I will keep required information current and will work only within my lawful professional scope.

Permits, inspections, and code compliance

I am responsible for determining and communicating whether permits, inspections, licensed supervision, or other approvals are required, and for complying with applicable codes and laws. Project Connect screening and customer answers do not transfer that responsibility to Project Connect or the customer.

Estimates, safety, and workmanship

I am responsible for reviewing and approving my scope, pricing, estimates, disclosures, and change orders; performing work safely and competently; communicating material changes; protecting the jobsite; and meeting my workmanship and warranty obligations.

Cancellations and continuing responsibility

If I charge a reasonable trip or cancellation fee after marking On Way, I must disclose it beforehand and set the amount myself. Project Connect does not create the fee. Completing a Project Connect job or later working directly with a customer does not remove responsibilities tied to the original job, including applicable warranty or change-order matters.
